It is on its way and we are getting ready. Take a look at your tent supplies. Is everything there? You may want to bring a canopy type tent to sit under next to your tent. Dont forget to bring some comfortable chairs to sit in as we do many outside activities. Look for some decorations to put on your tent or canopy. Next think about a cooler one for dry food and another for cold drink and cold food. You may want to bring some papertowels or some old towels to wipe things down from the dew or when it rains. Dont try to do it all at once spread it out over the next few days.
Below is a PDF of a Sukkot Checklist for camping to help you if you don't already have one. Also, there is an Excel Spreadsheet of the same thing in case you want to take a crack at it.

Scriptures from Proverbs 31 that show provision as a priority
Remembers she is our inspiration our guide. She can encourage us by the things she identifies for us.
Pro 31:13 She finds wool and flax and busily spins it.
Pro 31:14 She is like a merchant's ship, bringing her food from afar.
Pro 31:15 She gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household and plan the day's work for her servant girls.
Pro 31:21 She has no fear of winter for her household, for everyone has warm clothes.
Pro 31:22 She makes her own bedspreads. She dresses in fine linen and purple gowns.

Commandment from the Torah
Levitcus 25:18 “If you want to live securely in the land, follow my decrees and obey my regulations. ( This is the main point of living securely) 19 Then the land will yield large crops, and you will eat your fill and live securely in it. 20 But you might ask, ‘What will we eat during the seventh year, since we are not allowed to plant or harvest crops that year?’ 21 Be assured that I will send my blessing for you in the sixth year, so the land will produce a crop large enough for three years. 22 When you plant your fields in the eighth year you will still be eating from the large crop of the sixth year. In fact, you will still be eating from that large crop when the new crop is harvested in the ninth year.

Disaster wears many faces, not all of them coming from nature.
The world economy is experiencing a very bumpy and heart-stopping roller coaster ride because of turmoil in the financial markets.
A terrorist attack could disrupt the food distribution system for a prolonged period.
Crops fail periodically, driving up prices. Job loss is a possibility or a reality for people
all the time.
The bread winner is not able to work due to health, accident or otherevent.
A Government crisis that would cause the infrastructure to fail orbe
limited.
Having a stash of extra food in your pantry will not fix every problem that comes along, but it gives a little peace of mind. It can save a little cash, too. If you have a healthy pantry whether big or small financial problems arise ( like new tires) you can skip buying a lot of groceries and have the ability to shop from your own store ( pantry). My Father one year planted potatoes and he already had several years of potatoes all ready put up. So I asked why did he plant so many. He said you never know what a year may bring so if you are blessed with food take it as a blessing and preserve some or all of it. He also stated some years your garden fails and when that happens you want to be prepared.
Now you don't have to garden to put up storage. You can order your food online all at once that is already preserved for you. You can take 20 or so dollars each time you go to the store and start little by little putting things back. Some are good at watching for sales and coupons which can be used
for putting up food and supplies while you have abundance.
Where to start on setting up your pantry is to make a list of one or two weeks worth of food you like or want to eat. Be sure to include condiments and staples. Then separate into categories such as meats,
vegetables, dry goods etc. Then decide where you can store these items. You can turn a closet into a storage area. I have even seen plastic tubs that roll out from under the bed. One lady built a storage unit behind her couch! Then next depending on how much space you have, start with your dry goods. I use repurposed large mayo jugs to store beans, pasta, etc. to consoldate items in my pantry. Then each time you go to the store try to add some items. Shop from you pantry, freezer etc. when you are deciding to cook that way you will know what you are missing and what you need to make your "store" complete. Once you get started date the item when you bring it in to see how long it lasts. Once you
have that number you can multiply that to see how many you need for one year or three years.
Remember most grocery store have only three days of food if a disaster strikes. We need to be prepared to feed our families. Lets do it now while we have the abundant years.
