WHY ARE WE HERE?

Roots That Reach Deep is a website dedicated to produce the fruits from the gifts that Yah has graciously given to us.
We are from different places, different situations, and different walks of life but we all want to utilize our gifts and
to  help our families and communities to flourish.

Welcome Note from D'vorah!

For many years, Abba (Father) has put on my heart  to do something with 'Roots That Reach Deep' and it has been a desire of mine to do something with the information that was changing my life from dysfunction to function, from not being blessed to walking in His blessings.

I was always intrigued by the Woman in Proverbs 31 and thought about the many things that she could do and how successful she was in doing them. I wondered what her message was to us and how her example could help us spiritually and in our everyday life. I began to look at her by identifying her different tasks and realized I could organize them into seven areas. The seven areas came to me early on, but I could not understand how to use them in my life or what they meant. This came just as we entered the time in our spiritual journey of understanding our Messiah through the Torah and discovering our hebrew roots. I realized the importance of the seven branches of the menorah. Yah has helped me to see seven branches of bringing order in our lives. Each of these branches have seven aspects or characteristics .  The Proverb 31 Woman has these aspects, just as there are seven aspects to Yeshua's prayer and there are seven gifts of the spirit ( and in many other patterns of scripture). We'll explore the seven branches of the proverb 31 woman and their aspects  in this website and blog to help us connect to the insights given to us by the word of Yah and then hopefully to have a practical application that will help families and communities.

As Yah was calling us to observe the Sabbath and His feast days and, as I started studying Torah I began to see the whole bible in a new light! It has been almost 19 years since that time. I hope this website and blog will share insights and information that will benefit all to have a peaceful, profitable and prepared life and home.

Producing fruit or bringing forth a jewel or pearl takes time. It does not occur over night. One of the objectives of this site is to inspire you to use the gifts, talents and insights Yah has given you to make this world a better place and to be fruitful in all you do as Yeshua (Jesus) desires us to be. The Proverb Woman gives us examples of how to have structure to our lives just as a plant has a structure to bring forth fruit. We must have structure in our life to support the fruit we produce each season. So as the piece of sand in the oyster slowly becomes a pearl by being coated day in and day out, so are we daily being fit as lively stones in Yah's house.

We can become that precious jewel ( pearl) in Yah's Kingdom! My grandmother who was one of these precious jewels prayed and taught us about the saving grace of Yeshua to her family diligently, and the fruit of her life is still being seen in our family today. This website is dedicated to her memory and also to my parents who have been an example of living a simple self sufficient life of serving our Elohim.
