Proverbs 25: 28
"A person without self control is like a city with broken down walls"

Proverbs 31:17 She is energetic and strong, a hard worker. Proverbs 31:22 b She dresses in fine linen and purple gowns. Proverbs 31:25 She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.
We must first learn to care for ourselves in order to care for others. Here we will look at self control, self- discipline and begin to love and respect ourselves as our Father does.
Proverbs 25: 28 "A person without self control is like a city with broken down walls".
If you were a city that can mean all that is good goes out, and all that is evil breaks in and you're exposed to all kinds of temptations and become easy prey for the enemy. Here we are going to learn about our inner self by taking care of ourselves so we can be clothed in strength and dignity as it states in Proverbs 31:25.

Taking Care of Yourself
First: Exercise

One of the first things we need to do is feel better about our selves.
You need to find an exercise program that works for you. This is not hard, even if you are wheel chair bound, you can exercise. Exercise is what will give you energy and make you strong to get through your busy day both mentally and physically Exercise will give you that boost at the end of the day. Walking is most simple and can even be done inside your house.
Pick a path or walk in place with your headset on. Pick out 15 minutes of dancing or calisthenics. We just need to start. You will feel the results very quickly. I will go more into this time as we are going to educate ourselves on how much benefit we receive from exercise.
As always, if you have a health condition always check with your physician about exercise that will work and be safe for you.

Second: Style

Second, we must feel good about how we are dressed.
We need to dress for success, so the saying goes.
You are a child of the great King. You will have more energy when you feel good in the clothes you put on. I read once where you need to have clothes you feel good in right now. We need to get rid of the things that do not fit and dress in clothes that fit us and make us feel good about our appearance. Now we don't need a lot of clothes but the ones we have need to work for us. We need to learn how to arrange a wardrobe, how to shop for your body type and get advice on style.
Whether you shop at department stores, online or in resale shops you will know what you're looking for and what will work with outfits you already have available. Maybe you have a gift for this as well and can share with us who struggle.
We will dig our roots in here as well in future sessions.
Third: Learning How to Love Yourself through Heart

Third, we are going to look at what Yah's word says to us about self discipline, self- control, new self, and old self. We will also look at the negative aspects as well, such as self-imposed worship,self indulgence, self-seeking and self-condemnation.
What is your family saying about you, are you happy and filled with praise for our Father or are you bitter, unforgiving and prideful?
It is in these are the matters of our inner spirit that the scriptures tell us we need to have self control. If not, we are not going to be able to move on to the more weightier matters of Yah's Kingdom and his call in our lives. We need to be fit and dressed for the job that Yah has called us to do both inside and out.
