Home and Family
OHome and family is the first branch of our tree that begins to emerge as a young family starts. The home is where it all happens.(Proverbs 31: 27) I read something years ago that comments on the saying "If mother isn't happy...nobody is happy" The comment put the responsibility of being happy on the Mom. (Psalms 5:11) Our attitude is seen and felt by our husbands and children. If we are filled with negative emotions our family will reflect those back to us.( Proverbs 4: 23-27) Just as weeds are in the flower garden so these negative emotions will take over our homes. Our precious homes will become unbearable instead of a place to thrive. But the good news is we have the ability to change that with the help of the HOLY SPIRIT and instruction in G-d's word. (Romans 12:2) We can learn and practice happiness by learning G-d's words and promises. Sing spiritual songs. Memorize scripture that will change our hearts. Learn to turn our burdens and worries into prayers to G-d so he can help. ( Matthew chapter 6 just read the whole chapter its good)
In this branch of my life regarding home and family, I found help from the proverb woman, who helped me to realize certain characteristics I needed to really have godly knowledge about, so my home would flourish as a beautiful garden. However, my garden is not perfect as in all gardens you have problems and uncontrollable situations, but the knowledge that I am in G-d's hands can still put a smile on my face and confidence in my heart that he is in control and no matter what the outcome is, it is for my families good. (Lamentations 3: 22-26)
These are the seven powerful traits or aspects necessary to improve and benefit the home, family and of course you, they are found in Proverbs 31:10-31. They are Husband, Provision, Business, Wisdom, Charity, Self and Household. When we address these concerns on a regular basis, we will be made very fruitful ( like the tree planted by the water)-- both spiritually and physically. I call them the 7 aspects of home and family.
These aspects can open up our lives to be able to live it to the fullest with the peace, prosperity, and blessing that Yah intended for us. You will be closer to the way of living that will give you shalom (peace). You may then be able to fully recognize the ability to fulfill your mission in life. You will be able to dream, meditate, and pray without worry. You will be able to hear and listen to the Ruach HaKodesh (The Holy Spirit) that lives inside of you because you are not tangled in the cares of this world.
These 7 areas can become the cares of this world that can weight us down if they are ignored, which will interfere with our lives and not allow you to fully let your roots reach deep to enjoy the riches and glory of Yah. (Matthew 13:22) These 7 aspects can be either an anchor that weight you down with the cares of the world or a way to soar like the eagle. The 7 Aspects can help us reach our roots deep in the L-rd to be like the tree that grows by the water and when trouble comes it will still produce fruit and give shade.
When we address these areas, we can learn to laugh at the times to come because all is in G-ds hands. (Proverbs 31: 25) These are the aspects to a way of life that will bring peace, joy, and happiness. We can be the strong and capable woman that Yah wants us to be.
