Where do we start to pull our lives together? How do we run a household? Like making a quilt it is one step at a time and it begins to develop but we start with the tools such as a needle and thread. How do we grow spiritually and fulfill our purpose on this earth? Well I believe it is first things first in that we must identify the areas in our lives that we need to give attention to so we can get the most Yah has to offer. In my years, I have identified some of these in the scriptures. They are what I am calling the Seven branches from the tree that grows by the river that its roots reaches deep and it gives fruit in its season and does not wither in the heat or months of drought. The Word, Prayer, Values, Mission and vision, Spiritual Gifts, Home and family, Community are these seven branches. Then there are the seven aspects of each as an example the seven of home and family branch : Household, self, torah, provision, business, charity and husband which we find in the proverbs 31verses. Each branch has its aspect to wisdom, understanding, counsel, strength, knowledge, revealing of His spirit on us and respect of Yah.
In a quilt we decide on the size, pattern and colors. As children of Elohim we need to draw near to our Father first and let him begin to change us into the person he wants us to become. We do this by being in his word and we get into his word by establishing a daily habit of reading the bible. Along with this we need to establish prayer times. Praying for those we love, because no one can pray for your loved ones like you can. We can do this by creating a personalized prayer book.
As we study the bible and begin to fine tune our prayer life we start to look at one of the aspects of the proverb woman is to learn how to love your self. She states that strength and honor are her clothing and she shall rejoice in time to come v 25 of chapter 31 of Proverbs and in Proverbs 19:8 it states He that gets heart loves his own soul. As Yah changes our heart we can begin to love ourselves as he cleanses us from a life of sin and teaches us to have self control over the flesh.

Soon the qult takes on structure and the quilt starts tto take shape and we can make adjustments if needed. When we study the bible and learn to pray as he instructs us and we get heart to love ourselves. We learn in loving ourselves we need self control by the power of the Holy Spirit. We need to begin to get some order in our households. This is part of what we call structure or routines in our lives that free us to walk in the gift Yah has given us. Proverbs 31: 27 states She looks well to the ways of her household and eats not the 'bread of idleness'. Running in idle means we are not in gear. We are going to get in gear and find ways to move through our day without having the burden of cleaning all day and not accomplishing the goals set for that day.
Other topics the Proverb women tells us to look at are the study of Torah, being prepared by having Provision, establishing your own business or running your household budget like a business, giving to your hearts passion a charity that makes you feel connected, and learning to do good to your husband.
The planning of a quilt can lead to a lovely creation. A little planning can go a long way in fulfilling the mission Yah has for our lives. We should establish a list of values, these are the beliefs that will keep you centered or focused and bring you back when you stray.
Each of us has a mission and vision of what Yah is calling us to do. It may be a simple one to get your home in order or learning to love yourself. But as you focus more on Yahweh you will find he has a purpose for your life. We will work on writing out a mission and vision statement so we can stay focused on our purpose. We may have one purpose at this season in our lives but as we change a new purpose may emerge from the first.
When writing our mission and vision we look at the spiritual gifts we have and see how they fit into the body according to Romans. On the website I have a gift survey that may help you identify your spiritual gift. You may have never explored your gift. This will bring fulfillment when you begin to use your gift in the way Yah has planned for you.

When the quilt all comes together it is a lovely yet useful work. We learn to be part of a believing community. A community is where we grow together. As we become active in our community we feel bonds of love with other like believers. We feel part of something greater and our spiritual gifts develop as we work together. Studies have shown when you are part of a community you live longer and healthier.
When these Reading the Word, Prayer, Household, Self, Torah study, Provision, Business, Charity and Husband, Mission and Vision, Gifts and Calling, Spiritual gifts, Values and Community can come together with the purpose that Yah has given just to you.then you will be able to fulfill it. I am no expert in any of these areas. However, I see them throughout the scripture and especially in the Proverb woman. If we are addressing these in our lives we will avoid the road blocks that cause us to get frustrated. I can see if we focus on each of these areas of our lives we will have a more peaceful, meaningful and prosperous life. This website hopes to bring some experts or link you with experts that can help you become better in each of these areas we are not striving for perfection just good routines like Yah's order of things in his Morning and night, Six days to work and one to rest, Spring, summer, winter and fall.
